NWS Offers Summer Volunteer Program for College Students

Students enrolled in college can now apply for the National Weather Service’s summer volunteer program. The program offers an opportunity to learn more about the NWS and collaborate with meteorologists.

Applications are open, and interested students are encouraged to visit the NWS website for more information and to submit their applications. The link to apply is https://weather.gov/meg/volunteer.

The program aims to provide hands-on experience and insight into weather forecasting and meteorology careers for participating students.
