Prentiss County deputies visit young entrepreneurs selling lemonade and brownies
Members of the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department visited Henry and Aubrey Sheffield, who are selling lemonade and brownies to raise money for a savings account, the department announced Thursday.
The children are set up on County Road 5051, just north of Highway 30. Their efforts aim to teach the importance of hard work, responsibility, and saving for the future, according to the department.
Law enforcement officials encouraged community members to support the young entrepreneurs and stop by to purchase their treats. Every sale helps promote financial literacy and community engagement, the department said.
Officials emphasized the importance of supporting local youth initiatives and fostering positive community relationships through events like this.
