Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office Offers $15 Hourly Dispatch Job

The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office is hiring for a full-time night shift dispatcher, with a pay rate of $15 an hour, according to a department news release.

Applicants can pick up an application in person at the sheriff’s department or download it from the department’s website at this link. The application is also available on the department’s mobile patrol app.

The application requires a copy of the applicant’s birth certificate, a recent photo, and must be notarized in several places. Those who have previously applied are encouraged to update their applications.

Full-time employment includes paid insurance and state retirement benefits. Paper applications are available 24/7 at the dispatch office, the release said.
