Radar Circles Often Signal No Ground Precipitation, Experts Say
When radar images show a circle surrounding the radar station, it usually means that precipitation is not reaching the ground, according to meteorologists.
However, as the morning progresses, some sprinkles could develop as dry air beneath the clouds begins to saturate. Areas north of Interstate 40 have the best chance to see these light showers.
Northeast Arkansas might even experience light measurable rainfall by midday, forecasters added. The weather pattern suggests limited widespread precipitation, but localized light rain remains possible in specific regions.
