When a Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect, residents are advised to take immediate action to protect themselves and their property, the post added.
The alerts are part of the agency’s ongoing efforts to keep the public informed during severe weather events. The hashtag #MSSWPW2026 was included in the post to raise awareness.
