Sheriff’s Department Shifts Job Opening from Full-Time to Part-Time Day Shift

The sheriff’s department has adjusted its job opening from a full-time day shift dispatcher to a part-time weekday shift, offering an hourly rate of $15, according to department officials.

Interested applicants can pick up an application at the sheriff’s department or download it from the department’s website at http://www.prentisscountymssheriff.com/plugins/show_image.php?id=593. The application is also available through the department’s mobile patrol app.

Applicants are required to submit a copy of their birth certificate, a recent photo, and have the application notarized in several places. Those who have previously applied are encouraged to update their applications.

The part-time position includes benefits such as health insurance and participation in the state retirement system (PERS), officials added.
