State investigation shows Alcorn County #1 for PFAS“ Forever Chemicals” in their water
According to Consumer Reports and Mississippi Spotlight, 98% of tap water samples from all 82 counties in the state contained toxic PFAS chemicals.

PFAS can cause health issues like kidney and liver disease, cancer, and high cholesterol.
The top 10 counties with the highest PFAS levels were Acorn, Carroll, Lamar, Harrison, Forrest, Holmes, Hancock, Hinds, Union, and Pike.
