Fire departments, forestry working to contain wildfire in Alcorn County

Multiple fire departments and the MFC have been working on Wednesday to contain wildfires in Alcorn County.

From the Alcorn County Fire Service:

Earlier today fire crews from multiple departments in Alcorn county were dispatched to a wildfire on the Tippah/ Alcorn line.

Crews are still on the ground and with assistance from the Mississippi Forestry Commission the fire is believed to be around 90% contained.
