MDOC is Searching for Escaped Inmate from Mississippi Penitentiary

The Mississippi Department of Corrections, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, is currently in search of a state inmate who has escaped from the Mississippi State Penitentiary.

According to a press release from Mississippi Department of Corrections, or MDOC, Gregory Trigg, Inmate #R4245, is serving a total of 61 years in MDOC custody for nine sentences.

The sentences include armed robbery, two counts of kidnapping, residential burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime, and convicted felon in possession of a firearm. These sentences are all through Madison County.

Trigg is also serving time for vehicular burglary and vehicle theft committed in Rankin County, as well as nonresidential burglary that occurred in Scott County.

Trigg is identified as a bald-headed black male weighing around 200 pounds. He is approximately six feet tall.

MDOC has encouraged anyone who sees Trigg or learns of his whereabouts to contact their local law enforcement agency.
