Tornado that went through Alcorn County listed as EF-2 as it crossed 72

The National Weather service has categorized the Tornado that crossed through Alcorn County and went on to run for 8 miles through Burnsville.

From the NWS:

Prelim damage survey rating – Burnsville, MS Tornado. 8 mile track, up to 150 yds wide, most damage EF0-EF1, briefly low EF2 damage as it crossed US-72 on the west side of Burnsville.

NWS survey rated this tornado an EF2 with maximum winds near 115 MPH. No injuries reported but a number of homes were damaged significantly.
