NWS Memphis says Corinth stays dry through Friday before weekend rain
The National Weather Service in Memphis says Corinth stays dry through Friday before tropical rain is expected over the weekend. In a Wednesday graphic titled "Cool Mornings and Warm Afternoons Ahead," the office said today should be the coolest morning in the period covered and that the warmest afternoons come Thursday and Friday.
For Corinth, MS, the graphic shows a high of 86 Wednesday, then 89 Thursday and 89 Friday. Overnight lows are listed at 58 Wednesday, 57 Thursday and 58 Friday, keeping temperatures mild while the dry stretch holds on.
The weekend forecast cools down. The same graphic shows a high of 75 Saturday and 75 Sunday, before 82 Monday. Lows are shown at 61 Saturday, 63 Sunday and 60 Monday as the new week begins after the rain signal.
The Memphis office's post gives Corinth a clear late-week change from upper-80s afternoons to cooler readings in the 70s. Its graphic covers Wednesday through Monday and points to tropical rain over the weekend after the dry stretch ends Friday.
