Disaster Service Centers in Mississippi Counties Closed for Labor Day
Disaster Service Centers in Hancock, Harrison, Stone, and Pearl River Counties will be closed from Saturday, September 5th, through Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day, according to officials.
The centers are scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, September 8th, at noon. Residents seeking assistance are encouraged to apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov, via the FEMA app, or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).
Applicants should use disaster number DR-4930 when applying, authorities said. Officials emphasized that in-person visits are not necessary to apply for aid, which can be accessed through multiple channels during the closure period.
