Disaster service centers in three counties set to close Friday

Disaster Service Centers in Franklin, Lawrence, and Lincoln counties will close this Friday, August 14, at 6 p.m., according to officials. The center in Wilkinson County will stay open.

Hours for the centers are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The centers are closed on Sundays.

Applicants do not need to visit a center to seek assistance. They can apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov, through the FEMA App, or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), officials said.
