Disaster Service Centers Closing in Three Mississippi Counties

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency announced that disaster service centers in Franklin, Lawrence, and Lincoln counties will close at 6 p.m. Friday.

The center in Wilkinson County will remain open, officials said. Residents are encouraged to apply for assistance online at DisasterAssistance.gov, through the FEMA app, or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).

Officials emphasized that residents do not have to visit a center to request aid. The agencies continue to support those affected by recent disasters through multiple channels.
