Disaster Survivor Assistance Centers to Open in Several Mississippi Counties
Disaster Survivor Assistance Centers will open Monday at 8 a.m. in nine Mississippi counties, according to officials. The centers are part of efforts to aid residents affected by a recent disaster declaration.
The counties that will see new centers open are Carroll, Coahoma, Grenada, Holmes, Montgomery, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tunica, and Yalobusha. Residents in these areas are encouraged to visit the centers for assistance.
Centers in Alcorn, Benton, Lafayette, Leflore, Panola, and Yazoo counties will remain open, providing ongoing support to disaster survivors, officials said.
