Disaster Assistance Centers in Mississippi to Close and Open in Select Counties

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency announced that disaster survivor assistance centers in Calhoun, DeSoto, Humphreys, Tishomingo, and Tate counties will close Saturday, May 2, at 2 p.m.

Centers will reopen Monday, May 4, at 8 a.m. in Attala, Grenada, Holmes, Lee, Marshall, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tippah, and Union counties, according to MEMA.

Disaster recovery centers will continue to operate in Alcorn, Benton, Lafayette, Leflore, Panola, and Yazoo counties, the agency added.
