Louisiana wildlife officials announced that applications for the private lands alligator season are now open. The application process is exclusively online; mail-in applications will not be accepted, authorities said.
The application window will remain open until July 1, 2026. A separate draw for public waters alligator season will open June 1 and close June 12, officials said.
