State agencies allocate over $636 million to nonprofits in FY 2025

State agencies allocated more than $636 million to nonprofits during fiscal year 2025, according to a recent report.

The office has previously identified instances where nonprofit funds were spent on parties, Lyft rides after 3:30 a.m., and gym memberships. To promote transparency and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse, the office developed a nonprofit spending dashboard.

Taxpayers can access the dashboard on the office’s website under the “Reports” tab to see how their money is being spent.
