Mississippi Disaster Assistance Centers Schedule Changes Announced

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency announced scheduled closures and openings for Disaster Survivor Assistance Centers in several counties.

Centers in Attala, Lee, Marshall, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tippah, and Union counties will close at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9.

Centers in Carroll, Coahoma, Grenada, Holmes, Montgomery, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tunica, and Yalobusha counties will open at 8 a.m. Monday, May 11.

Disaster Recovery Centers in Alcorn, Benton, Lafayette, Leflore, Panola, and Yazoo counties remain open, according to the agency.

Residents are encouraged to visit the centers for assistance as needed during these times, the agency said.
