The National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, has issued alerts for the Mid-South region for tomorrow.
A slight risk of severe weather is forecast west of the Mississippi River, with damaging winds being the primary threat, according to the agency.
South of this area, a Heat Advisory has been issued due to expected heat indices reaching 105 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. Residents are advised to plan accordingly and stay hydrated.
Officials recommend staying aware of local weather updates as conditions develop.
