What It Costs
Gate admission is free on Tuesday and Wednesday. From Thursday through Saturday, it costs $5, and children 5 and under get in free. On every night of the fair, a $20 carnival armband covers the rides.
Saturday’s 4-H Poultry Chain Auction is a fair tradition in many Mississippi counties. Young 4-H members raise chicks through the summer and fall, show their birds, and sell them at auction. Supporters often bid to help fund the youth program.
Plan Your Visit
The fair is held at the county fairgrounds in Iuka. For weather changes and last-minute updates, check the Tishomingo County Fair Facebook page. It has been an unusually hot and dry October across Northeast Mississippi, with highs near 90 forecast early in the week, so bring water for afternoon events.
Saturday will be busy across the region. On Oct. 17, Booneville holds its Fall Festival downtown, and several Corinth events are also scheduled. Families planning a full day can catch the morning events in Iuka and still make the evening rodeo.
