NWS Memphis says Corinth showers fade Sunday and SKYWARN training is Oct. 5

Free SKYWARN class set for Oct. 5

The US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee says its free virtual SKYWARN class is set for Oct. 5 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The agency says the course should last about 2 hours, and registration is available at weather.gov/meg/skywarn.

Temperatures stay seasonable before warming late week

The US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee says seasonable temperatures will continue through at least Monday, with Corinth staying in the low 80s. The forecast then turns warmer through next week, with highs in the middle to upper 80s by Thursday; the graphic shows 81 Sunday, 82 Monday, 84 Tuesday, 85 Wednesday, 87 Thursday, 88 Friday and 86 Saturday.

Cooler, drier air follows Sunday showers

The US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee says cooler and drier weather should arrive Sunday night after a few showers across north Mississippi. The post says light showers are expected to end by Sunday afternoon, and the graphic shows Corinth warming from 81 Sunday to 85 Wednesday, then 87 Thursday and 88 Friday.
