NWS Memphis offers free SKYWARN class as Corinth cools, then warms again
Free virtual SKYWARN class on Thursday
The US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee says its next SKYWARN course will be held virtually on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The free class should last about 1.5 to 2 hours, cover the storm spotting process, and use weather.gov/meg/skywarn for registration.

Heat easing after a long 90-degree stretch
A Monday night forecast graphic from the US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee says highs in the 80s are expected Tuesday through Sunday after nearly 50 days with highs of 90F or higher. The chart is titled “Pleasant Temperatures through the Week.”
The same graphic says cool mornings should bring lows in the upper 50s to 60s, and it says that outside of isolated chances tomorrow, another dry period is likely. The chart includes Jackson, Jonesboro, Kennett, Memphis, Oxford and Tupelo.

Corinth forecast cools through Thursday, then warms again
The US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee posted a Tuesday afternoon update saying temperatures should be near normal through Thursday, with nighttime lows in the upper 50s to 60s and mainly rain-free weather expected into the weekend. For Corinth, the graphic shows highs of 88 Wednesday, 86 Thursday, 88 Friday and Saturday, 88 Sunday, then 91 Monday and 92 Tuesday, with temperatures still above normal for the end of September.
