Corinth Halloween Costume Contest Returns; Entries Due Nov. 2

The annual Corinth Halloween costume contest is back. Gardner’s and Roger’s Supermarkets and the Daily Corinthian are again inviting local families to show off creative costumes for a chance at grocery-store gift cards.

How to Enter the Corinth Halloween Costume Contest

Participants are encouraged to be creative and clever. Prizes will go to the top three entries, with gift cards provided by Corinth’s home-owned grocery stores.

  • Deadline: 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2
  • How to submit: email entries to editor@dailycorinthian.com
  • Prizes: awards for the top three entries
  • Sponsors: Gardner’s Supermarket, Roger’s Supermarket and the Daily Corinthian

Last Year’s Winners

Last year’s first-place entry came from the Box family: Tyler and Megan, along with children Benton, 11, John Archer, 9, and Linden Faye, 3, who dressed as the Addams Family.

Tips for a Standout Entry

Organizers have not published judging criteria beyond asking for creativity and cleverness. Group and family themes, like last year’s winner, have done well, and a clear, well-lit photo of the whole costume helps entries stand out in an emailed submission. Be sure to include participants’ names with your entry.
