The cases were prosecuted as part of the Trump Administration’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, according to White. He thanked investigators and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for their roles in uncovering and prosecuting the case.

“Thank you to the investigators on my team that helped uncover the facts on this case and to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for prosecuting this case,” White said. “We will continue to work as hard as we can to hold anyone who steals taxpayer funds accountable.”

The Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, chaired by Vice President JD Vance, collaborates with federal, state, and local agencies to identify and stop fraud involving taxpayer funds.
