Alcorn County sheriffs deputy helps rescue dog hit by car near Hwy 72

An Alcorn County Sheriff’s deputy an some concerned citizens helped rescue a dog that was hit by a car near highway 72.

The officer, Bryon Parker, was commended as always going above and beyond in every situation. The dog is in serious but stable condition.

According to the Corinth Alcorn Animal Shelter

Thank you to Officer Parker and a good no a great Samaritan for their help and support to get this sweet dog on his way to our vet. He was hit by a car on Hwy 72 near CR 305. In stable but serious condition. Do you recognize this sweet old dog?
