Special weather statement issued for Alcorn and surrounding counties for snow tonight
The NWS has issued a special weather statement for tonight in Alcorn and surrounding counties.

Minor Snow Accumulations Overnight…
A passing midlevel disturbance will bring light snow
accumulations to portions of east central Arkansas…southwest
Tennessee and portions of north Mississippi through 4 AM CST tonight. Major roads are not expected to be impacted as road temperatures will be just above freezing. However…elevated surfaces on secondary roads may drop to below freezing providing for some patchy slick spots. Grassy surfaces may also pick up light accumulations.
